My card is dead during Firmware upgrade!!! HELP!!! (UPDATED!!!)
Hello! I have decided to make an upgrade of the firmware of my card. I have started a file "Windy6_Upgrade.exe", the window with the program for upgrading the firmware has poped out and I have pressed Upgrade. The window with confirmation of upgrade procedurer has poped out, I pressed "ok" and then the card was switched off and there was an inscription "Preparing download..." And at this time I have unintentionally repeatedly pressed button "Upgrade" because I had another several windows of another programs on my Desktop. The error poped up and a card wasn't upgraded and didn't swich on! I can't switch on it again neither the switch behind, nor Firewire cord by plugging in and out. The Power indicator at switch inclusion behind lights up and there and then dies away. The card is inactive. I can not engage Upgrade procedure again? after pressing "Upgrade" button it takes several minutes without any actions with "Preparing download..." inscriptionand then the error with a code "Error code 0x20" pops up! Please help! What to do? How can I switch my card on!!! I forgot to mention one thing: after beginning of upgrade procedure, after automatic switch off and Error I had BSOD! Blue Screen of Death in my Windows and rebooting after that with swithed off card! ==================================================================================================== Today I tried different ways to make my card workind, to switch it on. Without results. In Windows 7 64 bit I can install the driver of the card, 4.4.00 or 4.6.0.0. Windows can see my card plugged in the computer, in Windows 7 32 bit I can't install any driver, system cannot see the card. I erased all drivers and now I can't install them back! It's a very bad thing! Im asking developers, engineers and programmers of the Windy 6 card to create a patch with a command in algorithm of Firmware to switch ot on or correction of errors at an erroneous patch or at casual crashes of system! I consider the existing Firmware updater unsecure for a card for beginners and for common users, because button "Upgrade" remains accessible to repeated pressing after the beginning of procedure of a patch that caused death of a card!!!! Please take it into consideration and create anothe version of the Firmvare upgrade program and try to solve my problem and avoid the same situation during Firmware upgrade!!! Thanks in advance!!!! ================================================================================================== Now I can't install any driver neither Win 7 64 bit, nor Win 7 32 bit. Windows can't see my card plugged in. So, now I don't have it in my system. Only changing BIOS chip can help, I guess, or I can just throw it away! Thank you guys for "prompt" reply... =((((((( |
