![]() The problem of HI-Z input happened again yesterday Went well, but now re-enter my guitar with high gain, which may be the problem? My AMON is out of warranty, bought it about 2 years. I'm from Argentina, I can prove something to solve the problem. I tell them also that the peak light does not turn on my record AMON but even down to zero gain, saturated (in nuendo is clearly seen as saturated signal). Use a translator to send the message, sorry if a bit confusing. ************************************************** Now I'll tell you what I do, unplug the USB cable from the AMON and reconnected and the problem seems solved. But I am concerned, never happened before, so I guess I have a problem with my AMON. What do you recommend? Send the board for repair is not an option, postings from my country are very expensive. Thanks for your reply. Greetings. Qué me recomiendan? |

Dear Sebastian, Thank you for your patience, it¡¯s much appreciated. In the support thread you mentioned that disconnecting the USB cable solves the problem. Does it truly always solve the high input gain problem? If it was only a coincidence and there¡¯s a hardware failure still involved, it might be possible to replace the broken potentiometer locally for a reasonable price. I'm looking forward to your feedback and I shall be pleased to provide further assistance if it is required. Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you. Best Regards, Balint M. SIMS Corp. |
