![]() Hello! First of all, sorry, but I can not find my Infrasonic
Quartet cards serialnumber, but I bought it in april 2011. My system is : Windows 7 64bit professional IntelCore i7 CPU
870@ 2.93 Ghz RAM 8 GB C-drive: Corsair Force 115 GB 2,5¡± SSD Sandforce D-drive: WD Velociraptor 450 GB 3,5¡± SATA3 10K 32M Recording program: Adobe Audition 3.01 No other programs on the machine, except for windows
standard o.s. programs and services. No antivirus, no firewalls. I have serious problems with the ISQUARTET drivers. I
have downloaded all versions from your web-site, and tried them out one-by-one.
The only driver that works satisfyingly is
ISQUARTET_V1.22.03. The one that came with the card on the installation CD..But
even this driver can cause unexpected and odd problems like freezing the
program and recording out of sync. The newest ISQUARTET_V1.24.10 driver is the most
problematic. When I, for example, change the buffersettings, the whole Windows
crashes and I get a Bluescreen. Usually with the errornotice:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. So any suggestions how to solve this problem? Please
feel free to ask me for more details. Peter ¡±Tusse¡± Thomasson Helsinki Finland E-mail tusse.thomasson@gmail.com |

Dear Peter, Thank you for contacting us and for your patience. First of all this is very strange behavior from Quartet, I¡¯m sorry for the inconvenience it may had caused. It is supposed to work the way it does in your old DAW. I suspect an IRQ conflict in your Windows 7 system, however it would not completely explain the 6ms latency at 64 samples buffer setting. If you know how to dissolve the IRQ conflict, please install Quartet in the right PCI slot. That should solve the BSOD crashes. In case you need assistance to find the right slot, please let me know the model number of your motherboard and I shall be pleased to provide further assistance. I¡¯m looking forward to your feedback. Thank you. Best Regards, SIMS Corp. |
