Dear Stefan, Thank you for contacting us. I'm sorry to hear, that you haven't been informed properly prior to the purchase. Electric (bass) guitars cannot be connected directly to DeuX, since it is equipped with 2 balanced line level inputs, while guitars require a so called Hi-Z input due to impedance matching and amplification requirements. Generally speaking DeuX is an audio interface, hence your computer will actually act as an output via DeuX to your stereo speakers or headphones. Once you have connected DeuX to your computer, if you have a Mac, it will be installed automatically and you can start using it right away. If you let me know the model number of your speakers, I can recommend a cable type for proper interconnection. In case of Windows computer, a driver has to be installed first, please find the direct link to the latest version below for your convenience: http://simsaudio.co.kr/sims_infrasonic/bbs/board.php?board=driver01&category=3&command=body&no=19 I hope this helps and I shall be pleased to provide further assistance if it is required. Thank you. Best Regards, SIMS Corp. |

Hi Again Thanks for your reply! Ok, i can't get it to work i guess, here's a picture of the Deux Panel when opened: http://i.imgbox.com/abfiINBq.png And every time i try connecting a cable it doesn't change anything in the panel and no sound.. Maybe it's because i only have standard mini-jack cables and using mini-jack -> jack adapters to connect with the Deux? Anyway i've a mini-jack cable with a mini-jack -> jack adapter connected to an output source in the back of the Deux box, and my headset with a mini-jack -> jack adapter connected to the headphones connection in the front of the Deux box. Sincerely Stefan Nielsen p.s. when opening the Windows Playback Audio, (where you normally choose which device the audio should be sent to), there is no sign of the Deux Box.. |
