Hallo, I own a couple of Infrasonic Blow 5 audio-monitors since a couple of years ago, and they¡¯ve always worked perfectly. Unfortunately, some weeks ago I noticed that the heat sink of one of the two audio-monitors overheats even at a low volume, while the heat sink of the other one stays at room temperature. There is no sign of malfunction from the sound program reproduction standpoint, but what I fear is that the overheat could cause some irreparable damage to the audio-monitor. Is this a serious symptom? Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Thanks, regards. |

Dear Sergio, Thank you for contacting us. It is great that you are paying so much attention to small details. The seriousness of this issue depends on the temperature of the heat sink. Under 40C degrees it is considered normal operation at low volume, anything higher requires an expert¡¯s attention. In this case please contact the place of purchase for further help from a qualified technician. Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you. Best Regards, SIMS Corp. |
