I already reported this issue a long time ago. But still nothing has changed. It's time to update the drivers for Quartet. The Version 1.25.04 has so much bugs. Have a lot of crashes with my music software. And the randomly click/crackle issues after booting Windows is still present. And it's time to release drivers for Windows 10. Because we still have to use the outdated and buggy Windows 7 drivers in Windows 10... Now to my main issue. After the last system crash i checked the crash report file of Windows, and it says, that the crash was caused by wdmqua64.sys, which is a part of your Quartet drivers. The crashes appear sometimes after closing my used music production software which runs with the ASIO drivers of Quartet. The software i use is propellerhead Reason 7. It's definitely a Quartet driver issue. Because this issue already happened in Windows 7 and now i'm using Windows 10 with a completely new computer and hardware. Just the Quartet card is still from the olsd system and this problem is till present. The same crashes also sometimes happen, if i try to route the audio I/O with the Quartet contol panel software (e.g. connect the ASIO outs 1&2 to WDM ins 1&2). And what else is confusing me: I downloaded and installed the latest driver verion 1.25.04. The Quartet control panel software also says version 1.25.04. But the Windows Device Manager says, it is driver verion 1.24.4.0??? Here's the crash report (I think this should help you to find the issue with your drivers): PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50) Invalid system memory was referenced.
