Headphones Output problem
Sometimes, while using headphones, only the left side emmits sound, the right channel stays muted. Line Output is working perfectly OK though. I changed headphones and cables and the same problem occur, so it's not that. I found that if I turn headphones volume up and down repeatedly, the right side makes scratchy sounds, sometimes even it seems fixed but for a very little time but again it fails and mute. The really strange thing is, maybe I try later a week or so, and it's working OK, only to start failing again some time after. I can find no logical answer for this, except that maybe the headphones volume potentiometer is dirty or broken. (I'd like you to help me confirm this diagnostic)
BTW, How could I buy a replacement? Could you tell me which component to buy exactly?
