Quartet driver 1.24 reset and BSODs
The Quartet driver 1.24 is installed on my Win 7 Professional 64-bit machine. When I try to connect to the driver from within Cubase, I always get BSODs. Also when trying to use Wavosaur. Using the CEntrance ASIO latency checker, when it tries to connect it reports that the driver requested a reset, and so the driver cannot be tested. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver but that doesn't help, nor does rebooting. The hardware worked fine on a Windows XP system. The driver Verifier is OFF. The driver's control panel works normally -- I can see mic input, etc. Crash dumps show that the driver is crashing. The ASIO4ALL driver, on the other hand, works fine with CUBASE. |
