M49 with Expander
There is one problem you can help me with. I own a old Roland SC-33. But I can't play any sounds with the M49 connected. Is it possible that it doesn't work because I use USB Power from my PC instead of using an power supply?

 Dear David,

Exactly. The native MIDI Out port of M49 is working only if a DC power supply is connected and USB mode is disabled. It cannot mirror the MIDI messages between its native and virtual USB MIDI outputs.
I hope this helps to set your gear up with M49 easily.
