![]() What are the chances that using MONO jacks to each of the outputs to get a stereo signal by routing it appropriately through the free mixer so that it sends left to one mono jack and right to the other can actually damage the outputs, because of the second pair of left and right channels(left unused) being shorted at that time? OR is it something not really worth worrying about in practice? Thanks

Dear Jimm, Thank you for contacting us. If you are planning long-term use in this setup, I'd recommend to make custom stereo-mono cables. It may grant you marginally higher sound quality, if the unused channels are not shortened to ground. However, as you said indeed, it is something not really worth worrying about in practice. I hope this helps and I shall be pleased to provide further assistance if it is required. Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you. Best Regards, SIMS Corp. |
