Noise problem, driver problem?
Hello, sorry for my english. I bought Amon 2-in/2-out USB 2.0 . I use Windows 7 (32 bit). So I installed the driver 2.8.40 beta (2.8.14 didn't work). The sound card works perfectly when I play an instrument like the bass guitar (Hi-Z input). If I use the midi input/output or I simply listen a song, the sound is disturbed by noise (on line out and phones too). Also midi has an high latency on output. Could this problem be caused by the wrong driver? Thank you for your co-operation Best Regards, Nicola

When you are playing an instrument like the bass guitar on Hi-Z input, are you using the direct monitoring feature or is it routed through an effect software? Looking forward to your feedback. Thank you for your fast reply. For the Hi-Z input I always use it with a software (specifically I use Steinberg's Cubase 5). |
