![]() Dear friends, I have Dell Latitude X1 (re-branded Samsung Sens Q30) equipped with a Ricoh R5C552 firewire chipset, and it is setup with an up-to-date Windows XP professional SP3. The system recognizes Windy6 right away when I hook up the device, and the entire installation process goes very smoothly. Still, Windy6 never shows up as a sound card. Is it a Ricoh chipset causing the problem? Best regards, Art

Hello! I am not an Infrasonic specialist, but I can give an advice. Is it soundcard power on (You must see the light of red power led on the front panel)? You need also check your firewire cable and firewire port setup in laptop's BIOS. |
